The daughter of the fourth President of the Republic of Indonesia KH Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur), Yenny Wahid admitted that she was not included in the structure of the Indonesian National Coalition Coalition Work Team (KIK TKN). It's just that, he is committed to still contributing to the victory of Joko Widodo-Ma'ruf Amin.
Yenny is known to have finally expressed support for Jokowi-Ma'ruf. Yenny's decision was taken after the breakdown in the direction of the Gus Dur family. Moreover, the vice president Sandiaga Uno had come to Gus Dur's family first rather than the vice-president Ma'ruf Amin.
Yenny's decision to support Jokowi-Ma'ruf received high appreciation from KIK TKN. Unfortunately, Yenny has not been included in the official structure of the KIK TKN, which has already been registered with the KPU.
"I didn't enter, I just helped outside," he told reporters when met in Jakarta on Saturday (10/13).
Yenny was reluctant to explain about her contribution in KIK TKN. According to him, KIK TKN already has members with qualified capacity.
"It's all smart (at KIK TKN). I'm okay," he said.
Yenny admitted that she still communicates with KIK TKN up to now. It's just that according to him the intensity of communication is not intense.
"Communication remains but little," he said while leaving reporters.
Secretary of the National Campaign Team Joko Widodo (Jokowi) -Maruf Amin, Hasto Kristiyanto said the support of Zannuba Ariffah Chafsoh Rahman Wahid aka Yenny Wahid further strengthened the optimism of the victory of the Jokowi-Ma'ruf pair. Hasto has coordinated with TKN Chair Erick Thohir regarding the role of Yenny in the Jokowi-Ma'ruf winning team.
According to Hasto, although structurally Yenny Wahid was not included in the campaign TKN, Yenny would be placed in a strategic position. "I have coordinated with Mas Erick Thohir, and he will specifically coordinate directly with Ms. Yenny Wahid and carry out the strategic agenda of winning Mr. Jokowi-Kiai Ma'ruf," Hasto said in his written statement to reporters on Wednesday (7/26).
