In addition to attending the 2018 IMF-World Bank Annual Meeting, during his working visit to the Province of Bali, Coordinating Minister for PMK Puan Maharani also inaugurated the new campus of the Australian Independent School (AIS) Bali.
Coordinating Minister Puan on this occasion was accompanied by Minister of Education and Culture Muhadjir Effendy.
The inauguration of the AIS Bali campus was carried out by submitting certificates from the Ministry of Education and Culture to the AIS. In his remarks, the Coordinating Minister of Agriculture held me very honored and proud to be able to formalize the new campus belonging to AIS. According to him, since inaugurated in 2000 by Ms. Megawati Soekarnoputri, AIS Indonesia has gained a good reputation. Primarily related to the academic achievements of their students. "I believe, this new campus provides better facilities and learning environment for students so they can learn better," he said.
After giving his remarks, the Coordinating Minister of Agriculture then gave a sign on an inscription and ribbon cutting as a sign that the AIS Bali campus had been officially opened. After that, Coordinating Minister Puan visited various AIS Bali campus facilities. The AIS Bali campus is located in Pamecutan, Denpasar and has an area of around 2 hectares. "I congratulate AIS Indonesia for demonstrating the work enthusiasm in providing good education for students," concluded Minister of Agriculture ended his visit. The inauguration of the Bali AIS Campus was also attended by the Australian Consul General in Bali, Helena Studdert.
