In this latest work, Cokelat offers new things with a fresher and more contemporary touch. "In terms of music there is something different because we use synthesizers," Edwin said during a media gathering at the Bentara Budaya Jakarta, Thursday (20/9).
Created by Edwin Syarif and Axel Andaviar, the creation of this latest single helped collaborate with musician Irwan Simanjuntak who is also the producer of the ninth album Cokelat. Meanwhile, Peralihan Hati song lyrics were written by the vocalist, Rossy Client.
According to Jackline this song tells the story of the process of transitioning feelings towards someone who often happens both in love stories and in everyday life. In addition, Ronny Febri Nugroho (bassist) said the transition of the heart is a portrait of most people today.
"Someone is more easily moved to another thing and without realizing it often leaves unresolved matters. The message we want to convey must leave a good footprint before moving on to another place," Ronny said.
The release of the latest single was packed in a light and relaxed mini concert event at Bentara Budaya Jakarta, Thursday (20/9) night. At the event, Cokelat also announced that it would launch the latest album with the title Nine precisely in the early 2019.
On this album, Cokelat will present nine new songs including four singles that have been released first. In addition to Transition Hearts, three other singles have been released in 2017, namely Betrayed, Love My Eyes and Garuda
